With more than half of 2020 spent under the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, proper hand hygiene has become mainstreamed, if not ingrained, into public consciousness. Access to and sustainability of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services is vital to protect human health. Promoting Hygiene Behaviour will be particularly a challenge amongst children who live in their won frills and fancies. Exploring modern approaches and innovative interventions for hygiene would require greater Convergence between schools, implementation agencies, public health experts and change makers. The webinar takes a step towards exactly that.

SHARP NGO is focusing on creating a platform to discuss best practices & success stories for hygiene behaviour change and inferring the limitations of schools in regards to Hand washing and Food Hygiene.

This was the 12th webinar under our series of Youth & Adolescent Health during pandemic & after which aims to highlight problems related to Youth & Adolescents in the ongoing pandemic situation, challenges to follow & to share relevant information about persisting school health issues to teachers and students so they can further educate the society. It also hopes to create an open platform for them to ask their doubts, and get possible solutions.
