Webinar on Developing Road Safety as a life skill in students: Emergency & Post crash care

Approximately, 1 lakh people out of the 1.6 lakh people dying every year because of road accidents can be saved if they receive some emergency care within the golden hour but in most cases people do not help victims due to their apprehensions or not being aware of the Emergency medical practices. A large proportion of crash survivors experience acute and long-term psychological conditions (15), with the most common conditions being post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders as per WHO Report. It becomes very imperative to discuss and aware people on helping post crash survivors through emergency care and psychological first aid.
