Currently, the entire humanity worldwide is facing a severe healthcare crisis, that is, the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic for the 21st-century population. Pandemic, being unprecedented, leads to several mental health problems, especially among the front-line healthcare workers (HCW). Front-line HCWs often suffer from anxiety, depression, burnout, insomnia and stress-related disorders. Despite the huge magnitude of mental health problems among the front-line HCWs, their psychological health is often overlooked. This International Nurses Day 2021 with the theme vision for future healthcare gives us the opportunity to put the issue in focus and prepare everyone to support Frontline workers as they fight for us.
