This webinar  aims to educate and aware people on Prevention of Aggressive problem behaviour in schools, Coping Strategies and Factors influencing aggressive behaviours. If we think back to our teenage years, many of us will remember getting angry with our parents or even shouting at them from time to time. Acting out is all a part of growing up - and is actually a perfectly healthy part of any teenager’s development. Childhood disruptive behaviours such as anger outbursts and aggression are among the most frequent reasons for outpatient mental health referrals. In the current version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), anger/irritability is the core symptom of oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and aggressive behaviour is most commonly associated with conduct disorder. However, children with other psychiatric disorders are also at increased risk of anger and aggression, and disruptive behaviour disorders are often comorbid with other forms of psychopathology.
