webinar on Procrastination and Time Management for youth

In this webinar we aimed to educate and aware people on Understanding and Overcoming Procrastination, Time Management Techniques, How Procrastination affects Time Management, How can students avoid procrastination and Manage time better. Procrastination is the tendency to prevaricate, delay or unreasonably postpone a task. It is a habit that affects everyone to a greater or lesser extent. Time management and procrastination are related: managing your time effectively can help you to feel in control of your workload, increase your productivity and improve your confidence. As a result, you’ll feel less inclined to procrastinate and able to enjoy a healthy balance between studying and other activities. Procrastination is not a matter, solely, of having poor time management skills, either, but rather can be traced to underlying and more complex psychological reasons. To overcome procrastination time management techniques and tools are indispensable, but they are not enough by themselves. And, not all methods of managing time are equally helpful in dealing with procrastination. There are some time management techniques that are well suited to overcoming procrastination and others that can make it worse.

Participants joining through Zoom were encouraged to share their thoughts and discuss their problems also for the benefit of others.
